Lined Journal Pages
The first set of resources focus on the host country of this year's Olympics - China. Here are some ideas for possible uses in the classroom:
-Students research China and use the paper to share their final work.
-Students select an aspect of Chinese culture to research and use the paper to share their final work.
-Students write "A Day in the Life" story about living in China.
-Students compare and contrast China to their own country and/or state.
Below you will find a number of activity pages. Next to each page you will find a description of the worksheet, as well as an idea of how to use it with your students.
OPTION 1: Students can use the worksheets to take notes on the various aspects of Chinese culture and life. (These note taking worksheets use the same graphics as above.)
OPTION 2: Instead of taking all their notes on the small pages below, you may want to give each student one of the four sheets and ask them to record the most interesting fact they learned from their research. This would make a great bulletin board or mini class book.
Below you will find a number of coloring pages. Any of the coloring worksheets could be a great addition to research work done by students.
