Minimum of 2 words is required
Maximum of 35 words
Words can have up to 20 letters, clues may be up to 200 characters.
If we cannot find a place for a word, it may be dropped, or you may get an error.
We have premade word/answer sets. (in case you missed them).
BETA Testing foreign characters. If you are using non-English characters, please let us know in the comments at the bottom of the page what language and if it worked for you.

Need spell check? We get a lot of requests to have spell check. In fact, most people with a recent updated browser already have a spell checker built-in, and activated, on their browser. In any online form field, if a word is misspelled most browsers underline the word with a squigly red line. Right click the word for spelling suggestions. If this is not working for you, try right clicking the form field and see if the opion for "Check Spelling" is available. Browsers known to have Spell Check built in: IE9+, Firefox 2+, Chrome and Safari. [X] Close

Having Printing Problems? (Missing grid lines on printout, Grid too large for paper) Click here for tips... Crossword getting cut off (left/right side of page)? When you print a preferences box will pop up. Look for something that has an option call "fit to page" or "print to fit page" or "shrink to fit" and choose that option. THIS MAY CAUSE YOU TO LOSE GRID LINES. Please see the tip below instead of using this one if this happens to you. Missing Grid Lines? This sometimes happens when you use the option above (Shrink to fit, or fit to page). If your puzzles are too big for the page, try making your margins smaller in your printer setup. If this does not help you, please let us know the problems you are having in the comments box below.

You must have an OLD browser. The old crossword maker doesn't allow all of the new features like cool fonts, adding images, shadows, special colors, and much more coming in the furture like saving, and being playable online.
